Enterprise gadgets

Early gadgets were fun but not very useful in the enterprise - it’s hard to see how the Pacman gadget helped anyone do their jobs better.

But there has been a major shift in thinking about gadgets. It has become apparent that gadgets, and the deployment simplicity and flexibility of iGoogle, can offer enterprises a powerful new way to address the highly custom needs of knowledge workers.

As a result, Google is seriously moving into enterprise gadgets, and so is LimitNone. The key to enterprise gadgets is the ability to provide access to structured information spread out across many enterprise applications.

We have announced and made available our first 2 enterprise gadgets: Employee Profile gadget, and RSS Intranet gadget. There are many more exciting developments to come in this area. Stay tuned….
