PC Magazine: The death throes of a dinosaur
So I read this truly pathetic article in PC Magazine today by a guy who thinks “Google Apps, meanwhile, will remain tucked away in the corner of Google’s portfolio”. This came out the same day that Google announced that Google Apps was “going global”.Then I remembered - this is PC Magazine. Remember when it used to be thick and juicy and full of good stuff? Now it’s thinner than Kate Moss on a hunger strike. It will soon be extinct, with or without a meteorite. Sad, but we must move forward.
One thing of interest: he says Google should “[write] a collaborative plug-in for Microsoft Word”. Of course, this already exists. It’s called gSHARE.
