Eric Schmidt talks about nanoapps

Eric Schmidt (Google CEO) gave a speech in Seoul Digital Forum. After his speech, he was asked what he thought about Web 3.0.

His answer sounded a lot like my post on the Gadgetization of the Enterprise! He says in Web 3.0 applications will be “pieced together”, and their characteristics will include the following:

  1. Applications will be small.
  2. The data will be in the cloud.
  3. The applications will run on any device.
  4. The applications will be fast and customizable.
  5. Distribution of the applications will be viral.
