Eric Schmidt talks about nanoapps
Eric Schmidt (Google CEO) gave a speech in Seoul Digital Forum. After his speech, he was asked what he thought about Web 3.0.
His answer sounded a lot like my post on the Gadgetization of the Enterprise! He says in Web 3.0 applications will be “pieced together”, and their characteristics will include the following:
- Applications will be small.
- The data will be in the cloud.
- The applications will run on any device.
- The applications will be fast and customizable.
- Distribution of the applications will be viral.
